Spring has been a little wishy-washy in my neck of the woods. We warm up close to 80 and then another cold front comes in! But we've definitely been embracing the season at our house, planting new flowers and brightening everything up. If your wardrobe needs some Spring cleaning, you should definitely check out the latest Lauren Conrad collection at Kohl's. I'm in love with all of her pleat-neck tops and dresses. For reference, I'm 5'2", usually a medium, and wearing this adorable cherry-print dress in a medium. It's machine washable and can be dried without fear of shrinking, but you'll definitely want to get it out as soon as it's done to prevent wrinkling!
I'm your mom friend who's probably overdressed for the occasion, would rather drink Mountain Dew than wine, and definitely stayed up too late reading last night. Thanks for joining me on this crazy journey!
When it comes to winter, I am by no means a style expert. I live in the South, after all, where true winter rarely comes to call these days....
January Book Club Pick
This book is supposed to be like a combination of The Echo of Old Books and The Lost Apothecary, the January picks of the 2024 and 2023 book clubs respectively. I really enjoyed starting the year with those books, so I figured I would continue the tradition this year! This book is about three strangers: Opaline, Martha, and Henry. None have been the main characters of their own stories, but that all changes when they discover The Lost Bookshop in Dublin and are transported into a world of wonder.
