My First Amazon Fashion Order: Khaki Turtleneck Sweater
I've been an Amazon shopper for years, but up until this past week I've never bought any clothing. After Audrey over at Putting Me Together talked about this sweater multiple times, I decided to take the plunge.
This is the Asvivid turtleneck in khaki, although in person the color looks a little more gold to me. It also comes in blue, black, two shades of green, and gray. The material is soft and pretty warm. However, the knit isn't super tight so if it's windy you might get chilly. That's easily fixed with an undershirt though. I like that the neck isn't super tight around my throat like a traditional turtleneck.
For me, the length was a little awkward, probably because I'm so short. I'm wearing a size small and it's honestly like a short sweater dress. Because of where it hit in the front, I felt like I was constantly adjusting to make the hem lay flat, so the next time I wear it I'll definitely be half-tucking it like in these pictures.
The sweater also has drop shoulders, making it slouchier, which I like. Also, the sleeves are a mite long, but I don't think I would have liked it in the XS.
I wore this for a day of magazine deliveries, and I had a couple of instances where the corners of the books caused pulls in the knit. They were all easily fixed, thankfully.
Overall, I give the sweater a 4.5 out of 5 stars, and I only deducted half a star because of the length. I'm 5'2" and think if I had a couple more inches it would be perfect.
Details:

Jeans: Old Navy
