Ready for Spring

Just when you think the South has its weather figured out, bam! Everything changes. This week we're living in the 70s and dealing with pollen, and not just any pollen - my nemesis, pine pollen. Anyway, I wore this on my first day of distributing our February magazines. At the time I thought it would be a great little transitional, winter-to-spring outfit. Maybe if I lived somewhere that actually followed the rules of the seasons... After about an hour, I was dying and had to lose the jacket.
The shirt has cute little flutter sleeves so I was okay with that. It's a little longer than most shirts like this are on me so unless it draws up some in the wash, I'll be tucking it in. The v-neck may be a little deeper than some might like but I didn't have any issue with it. I paired it with a navy blue blazer but can also see myself wearing it with green, white and light pink (all three colors can be found in the pattern).
