Friday Favorites: What I Loved in September
September was a big month for us, from my dad's 50th birthday, the first day of school, our wedding anniversary, and my husband's birthday. I upped my fitness routine to include more cardio and increased my work efforts to have one of our most successful months since the pandemic started. I felt more focused than in recent months, a trend that will hopefully continue as we head into the end of the year. I haven't done a Friday Favorites post in awhile, and with it being the start of a new month I thought I'd share 10 things I loved from the month previous. These are all things that made my life easier or just made me happy.
10 Things I Loved in September
Fitness Tracker Watch - I never thought I would own one of these things, but I wanted a more accurate way of keeping up with my progress on my daily walk/jog.
The Enola Holmes movie - Sherlock Holmes' little sister, Enola, might just be a better detective than he. When her mother disappears on her 16th birthday, Enola sets out to find her and is soon involved in an even bigger case - the attempted murder of a young lord.
These Boyfriend Jeans - You've seen them all over my Instagram feed, as well as in several blog posts. This pair of jeans are my current favorite. The perfect fit (for me), just the right amount of destroyed, and that "lived in" feel that's hard to come by. I wear size 6.
Bluetooth Headband - Exercise is so much better with music, yeah? Well, because of my daith piercings I can't wear earbuds and most headphones won't stay put. This bluetooth headband has made my daily walk/jog so much better. Not only does it provide me with a beat, but it also keeps my hair off my neck.
Converse - I've been embracing more casual outfits these days and been reaching for my Converse multiple times a week.
Waterless Foam Shampoo - Powdered dry shampoo gives me hives, but this waterless foam shampoo has been helping me stretch my wash days without the dreaded itch.
New workout clothes - I've been picking up bits and pieces from various places so I don't really have anything specific to link to for this one, but having enough workout clothes to make it through the week has been really nice. Plus, I like feeling put together, even if it's just a workout.
He!!o Sweatshirt - I have more than got my money's worth out of this sweatshirt. I've worn it at least once a week since ordering it. It's so soft and already broken in. It's sold out in most sizes now, but there are some other designs to choose from as well. I wear size M.
New PJ Pants - I love Old Navy's poplin pajama bottoms! I've been wearing the pink stripe floral pair almost daily. They come in three other prints. I sized up to a large because I like my pjs to be loose.
Postmodern Jukebox - I've been in love with PMJ for a few years now, but one day during a Facebook break a video of their old-school version of the Spice Girls' Wannabe popped up and I fell down a rabbit hole. They were my soundtrack for like a week, and one day I hope to see them live.
