My 2020 Christmas List

by - December 04, 2020

I don't think I've ever shared my own Christmas list on the blog, but I recently read a post on one of my favorite blogs, Everyday Reading, in which she shared her wish list and thought you guys might like to see what I'm hoping for this year.

As a rule, I'm pretty easy to please, but this year I do have a few specific things I'd like to find under the tree. I've spent a lot of 2020 trying to improve my self-care, so you'll see a lot of that reflected in these items, along with some stuff to refresh my office. Plus, we've been updating things around the house so there's some stuff that would help with that.

Hint: Any family that's reading this, please check with me before you click BUY to make sure I didn't tell another relative whatever you're considering! Also, I may have jumped the gun and ordered something for myself...#sorrynotsorry.

1. Smart Notebook - This thing is seriously cool. You can upload handwritten notes to your cloud service via an app, and then clear out the whole thing by popping it into the microwave it for 15 seconds.

2. Library Books Pen Holder - My current pen holder is over 10 years old, and I'm in the mood for something new. This speaks to the bookworm in me.

3. Desktop Organizer - As much as I love my desk, it doesn't have a lot of storage, and the single wire file organizer I have just really doesn't offer enough extra for my home office. I really like the unique design of this one!

4. Desk Chair - I technically already have a desk chair, but it's not adjustable and really sits too low. So it's time to update with something pretty and stylish.

5. Pretty Printed Ergonomic Mouse Pad - When 90% of your work day revolves around a computer, carpal tunnel is a real thing, and now that I'm in my 30s I can feel it more acutely than ever.

6. Air Fryer - If there's one thing I hate, it's frying food. Don't get me wrong. I love fried food, but I hate doing it myself, especially french fries.

7. Pantry Essentials - It's past time to update all my kitchen essentials. All this set is missing are canisters for my sugar and flower.

8. Mixing Bowls with Lids - My mixing bowls have seen better days. In fact, I don't have a complete set, and the ones I have don't have lids.

9. Electric Fireplace TV Stand - This is more of a joint gift for me and my husband. We both grew up with a fireplace, and while neither one of us wants to deal with firewood and smoke, we do miss having one during cold months.

10. Round Rug - We're updating our entryway and this is the final piece we need.

11. Storage Baskets - I am obsessed with baskets right now. This set of two would fit under my new console table nicely.

12. Hair Tools Storage Basket - I need a better way to store my hair tools, and I like that this can be mounted.

13. Cozy Socks - When I'm at home, which is 90% of the time even without a pandemic, I like to wear socks.

14. Cozy PJs - You can never have too much loungewear, especially this year.

15. Bad Girls Throughout History - I'm a big fan of coffee table books, although the few I own are actually tucked into my office bookshelf. This would be a nice addition to my collection.
