10 Easy Christmas Craft Ideas for Kids
I feel like I've said this a lot, but for a creative person I am decidedly not crafty. But Alexis is a budding little artist, so I'm constantly saving ideas to my Pinterest boards of simple crafts we can do together (re: crafts I won't mess up).
I do try to do at least one holiday craft, even if it is buying a kit that spells everything out step-by-step. We haven't picked up anything for Christmas yet, but I'll be sure to share whatever we end up with on social media whenever it happens.
Anyway, if you're in the market for some easy Christmas crafts to do with your kids over the next few weeks, I've rounded up 10 fun projects that won't cost an arm and a leg.
Popsicle Stick Gingerbread House - Avoid the sticky mess of a traditional gingerbread house with this fun craft.
Paper Bag Gingerbread Man Puppet - What's better than a craft you can actually play with?
Paper Plate Ornaments - Paper plate crafts are my absolute favorite! And these ornaments are something you can hang on the tree year after year.
Paper Plate Snowman Wreath - This is perfect for kids who desperately want to make a snowman but don't live in a cold climate.
Paper Plate Christmas Trees - These would make the cutest table toppers for your holiday meals!
No-Sew Sock Penguin - How fun are these? They'll be a fun addition to your winter décor.
Rudolph Ornaments - Isn't it a rule of Christmas that every child has to make at least one reindeer ornament in their lifetime?
Salt Dough Ornaments - These make great keepsakes.
Flower Pot Elves - Excuse me while I go buy all the mini flower pots I can find.
Pine Cone Gnomes - Gnomes have kind of been our thing the last few Christmases, and Alexis loves pine cones, so this might just be the craft we pick for this year.
I would love to see any Christmas crafts you do with your kids!
