14 Valentine's Crafts Ideas for Kids
Valentine's Day crafts are my favorite, even if we don't really celebrate. What's not to love about pink and red, heart-themed activities that promote, well, love?
As with the other holidays spread throughout the year, I try to find some fun, but easy, craft to do with Alexis. I'm not all that crafty so simplicity is a must for me. I spent some time browsing Pinterest for some fun ideas for Valentine's Day. These are my top 14 picks.
Foam Heart Unicorn - Alexis has a thing for unicorns. I'm actually considering making these for her class Valentines.
Paper Plate Stained Glass Hearts - These were always my favorite projects as a kid.
Salt Dough Conversation Hearts - I never really considered other uses for salt dough, but I love the idea of these!
Valentine's Slime - Slime is totally not my thing, but Alexis loves it, and even I have to admit that this Valentine's version is pretty.
Paper Towel Roses - Oh my goodness, these really are so pretty!
Valentine Gnome - Gnomes have already taken over my Christmas décor. Why not Valentine's too?
Chalk Pastel Heart Art - Chalk art is always fun.
No Sew Heart Pillows - I really love this idea!
Toilet Paper Roll Love Bugs - What a fun way to recycle your used toilet paper rolls.
Glitter Heart Jars - This is a sparkly, self-contained alternative to slime.
Cardboard Lacing Hearts - Not only are these a cute little decoration, they also help hone fine motor skills.
Heart Stamps - This is a craft that keeps on giving, and if you're child is anything like mine, stamps are always a winner.
Pom Pom Monsters - How adorable are these fuzzy little guys?!
Treat Poppers - These are more like something you would make for your kids, but they could also be something cute you and your kids make together to give to their friends!
