Monday Motivation
Happy first Monday of February, friends! I hope your first few days of this month have been productive.
I feel like I might finally be mostly caught up on all the things that fell to the wayside while we had Covid. Of course, it's now time to do distribution for the February magazine, so some of that will be undone. Why is it that once you get behind, it's almost impossible to get back ahead?
Alexis has been making up for lost time with her grandparents the past two weekends, which has meant her daddy and I have had two kid-free weekends in a row. That actually works out nicely for getting caught up on chores. My kitchen, while not 100 percent tidy, no longer looks like a nuclear waste zone (I'm kidding!), and I finally got my laundry situation under control and managed to do a bit more cleaning out in my closet. We also rented the new Ghostbusters movie, and it was so so good.
We officially booked Alexis's 7th birthday party, which seems really far in advance, but I wanted to make sure we got the weekend we wanted. This week she's starting a month-long weekly art class that she's very excited about, and her class Valentine party is on Friday so we'll be doing some kind of Valentine's goodies for her classmates this week. I've also got to get on the ball to help her with her Jump Rope for Heart donations (if you'd like to donate, you can do so by clicking here).
As for me this week, I'll be finishing up magazine distribution for the month (we got a good bit done over the weekend, yay!) and really getting into the March issue. I've got plans with a couple friends this week, as well, and will hopefully get to see a cousin that lives on the other side of the country this weekend. So it's shaping up to be a busy week.
That's it for me this morning. I hope you all have a wonderful week!
