8 Early Summer Outfits
In case you've missed it, my family just moved into a new house. If you've you've never moved before, let me be the first to tell you that it is a process. So for the last couple of weeks, I've been limited on my clothing options because they've been packed away, hence no pictures to share. Then, I couldn't post last week because we were actively moving and had no internet access. So this Real Outfit Roundup goes all the way back to May 12 and only has eight outfits to share with you.
Sizing info: I'm 5'2" and weigh about 145 lbs. I typically wear size small or 6 in clothes and size 7 in shoes.
We have officially reached the season of perpetual shorts and a t-shirt outfits. Looking back at my calendar, I didn't have anything scheduled for the day outside of work. These destructed shorts have been my go-to here lately for casual outfits. I recently added this vintage Cherry Coke graphic tee to my collection because I love Cherry Coke almost as much as Mountain Dew. It's fitted so I got the medium.
This white t-shirt is just elevated enough to feel not plain or basic. It's got a pocket and rolled sleeves. I also really like the way it drapes. It's a thicker material so no issues with it being see-through. I'm wearing the small.
This was day one of packing up our house. I kept my outfit simple with this tiger graphic tee, my favorite shorts, and black Chucks.
For Memorial Day, we spent the afternoon at the lake on my parents' boat. I pretty much always wear a cap to protect my face from the sun. I've had this simple pink cap for a few years now. And this is one of the cover-ups I showed a couple weeks ago.
I decided to go with this blue mixed-print bikini for my first boat ride of the summer. I really like this suit, although the bottoms are cut a good bit higher than I usually go for.
This is from this past Tuesday. I had unpacked my dresses so I decided to wear one. This tank dress is a few years old, but Time and Tru keeps bringing it back. I'm not sure if this year's is the exact same as mine, but it comes in quite a few color choices. I also linked to a cute halter neck version. My sandals are new and oh so cute. I got them to replace my favorite two-toned slides that finally wore all the way out earlier this week.
I had an in-person meeting on Wednesday so I decided to dress up for it a bit. This is my favorite style of dress these days, and I love this purple floral print. It's got a navy blue base with pink and tan woven throughout the pattern. The waist is smocked and the neckline can be tied or left open.
