7 Affordable Father's Day Gift Ideas
Buying gifts for dads is hard, y'all. Whether you're shopping for your own dad, your father-in-law, or the father of your children, dads tend to be the absolute worst at communicating what they want. With two weeks and counting until Father's Day, I can bet that a lot of y'all haven't even thought about what to buy dead old dad. Never fear! I've got some fun gift ideas that aren't a World's Best Dad mug or another funny tie.
While putting together this year's list, I really had my husband in mind. In fact, there are two items on here that he's specifically mentioned! Two others are things that I know he would enjoy, while another two are practical gifts I know he would use. There's one item on here that doesn't really fit, but it's still fun, and I know a lot of dads out there who would use it.

7 Affordable Gifts for Dad
1. Screen Magnifier - My husband watches a ton of videos on his phone, so this seemed like a good idea. It's pretty cool because it doesn't take up a lot of space but will make his videos bigger. This is a portable, foldable stand that can be used with almost any size phone as well as the Nintendo Switch. It comes in a range of screen sizes from 12 to 18 inches, but the price stays below $30. It also comes in several color options.
2. Table Top Fire Pit - This is another thing my husband has expressed interest in and might be my favorite item on this list. This table top fire pit would be a nice addition to your patio, porch, or even your coffee table. I like that it's not something you would really rely on for heat, although it would keep a small space fairly warm, and I like that it won't put off a lot of smoke because it runs on ethanol. As I already pointed out, it can be used both indoors and out. This is one of the pricier items on this year's list, but it's still less than $50.
3. Toilet Bowl Light - This gift seems pretty silly, but I'm pretty sure my husband would love it. It's adjustable so it will fit any size toilet. I like that it's motion activated and that you can change the color of the light. And it's only $10.
4. Neck Fan - I'm starting with this one because it's actually one of the few things my husband has asked for. It's one of those things that he'll be able to use in a bunch of situations, but especially when he's working in the yard. It comes in five colors, has three speeds, and has a rechargeable battery that is rated to last up to 16 hours. Best part? It's less than $25.
5. Indoor Golf Putting Game - This one just looked fun. It's something dad can use at home or in the office. It won't take up much room, and even the kids can join the fun. You have two options for this: you can buy it with or without a putter. Of course, the price will reflect that decision.
6. Grilling Kabob Baskets - This is one of those ideas that I don't think you can go wrong with. Most dads are their families' grill masters, and most families have attempted at one time or another to grill kabobs. If you're anything like us, it probably didn't go well...or you never have actual kabobs. With these baskets, you don't need the skewers! These come in a set of four and are only $20.
7. Soda Can Covers - One reason why we don't buy a lot of canned drinks is because you can't reseal them, so inevitably we end up with half-drunk sodas in the fridge, and it drives me nuts. With these covers, problem solved! These come in clear or blue. You can get a pack of six for $13.
