Moms come in all shapes and sizes, and I think this year's list does a good job of recognizing that. These gifts are not specifically curated with working moms in mind but rather were inspired by things that I want for myself or that I thought would make a good gift for my own mom.
Usually I try to keep my gift lists under $50, but I found a few things that were just too good not to include. So the price range for this year's guide is a bit higher but does not exceed $100.
As always, this post is meant to inspire your shopping and guide you in the direction of the perfect gift.
20 Great Gifts for Mom Under $100
Storyworth - I love this idea so much. In fact, this may be my favorite idea on this entire list. Once a week, the recipient receives a question to inspire them to write. You can choose the questions, make up your own, or have Storyworth choose. Then, after a year has passed, their stories are published in a book. You can even add pictures before it prints. How awesome is that?!
Moments with Mom Scratch Off Journal - I always include some kind of journal in my gift lists, but this one may be my favorite find yet. This journal is really more of a scrapbook. It has 100 bucket list-style prompts like "Explore a new city" or "Go to a pottery class". Each page has space to write about the experience, rate it, share photos, etc. I love it so much.
Smartphone Photo Printer - I cannot begin to tell you how much I would use this printer. Making a photo order at one of our pharmacies is such a hassle (seriously, I always end up frustrated), and it's gotten pretty expensive. Having a way to print from my phone at home would be so convenient, and I could have updated family photos all year long instead of thousands of photos living only in my phone's camera reel.
Kindle Page Turner - A few years ago, my mom got me a book seat, which is amazing...except that I still have to have at least one arm out/free to turn the pages of whatever I happen to be reading. That means I don't use my book seat nearly as much as I thought I would. This little gadget, however, would remedy that situation. I need one ASAP!
Neck Book Light - I have an unpopular opinion. Clip-on book lights aren't worth the hype. They're almost always too heavy, and it's nearly impossible to get the light angled just right. I don't know that this neck light is any better, but one of the book bloggers I've been following for years swears by hers, so I figure it's worth a shot.
Inspiration Every Day Interactive QR Mug - This might just be mom's new favorite coffee mug. Not only will it deliver her morning pick me up but also daily words of wisdom.
Car Trunk Organizer - I could absolutely use one of these; I currently have a case of water that's just sliding around back there! I really like that this one is a fun pattern instead of just a dull, boring black.
Car Document Holder - At first, this made me think of my mom and all the day trips she and my dad have been taking lately, but then I realized that I, too, could use one of these to organize the documents that right now are just haphazardly in my glove box.
Vintage National Parks Puzzle - This is something that made me instantly think of my mom. She's been on a mission lately to visit as many state parks as she can, so why not add national ones to her list?
Puzzle Board - Every time I see one of these, I think of my granny and her love for doing puzzles. I, too, enjoy a good puzzle but don't have a good place to work on them that isn't in the way. This would solve that problem nicely.
Interesting Wall Art - I love adding interesting decor to our home, and I've got my eye on this set of four small moth and butterfly prints.
First Edition Book Cover Art Print - I wouldn't say no to any of these four first edition prints. So cool!
Crystal Sun Catcher - I love sun catchers, and this one is so pretty.
Pajamas - Pajamas are never a bad gift idea in my book. I especially love Old Navy's poplin pjs. Almost all my sleep shorts are from there.
Fruit Slice Coin Purse - I think I've finally reached the age where I need a coin purse (not that I ever have coins these days), and this one is just so much fun.
Travel Jewelry Box - I recently got one of these as a parting gift at a work function I went to with my husband. It's something I never really thought I would use, but let me tell you how convenient this thing is. I rarely travel with jewelry because it's difficult to pack; this little box will solve that issue for me and take up very little space in my bag. The one I got is just plain black, which is fine, but this one comes in several colors, two different sizes, and is customizable, so you can have mom's name put on it.
Mimi Utility Tote - How many tote bags are too many tote bags? The limit does not exist. And this one has really good reviews.
Happy Box - I love Natural Life's Happy Boxes. They are such cute little gifts to send to literally anyone at any time. They have several to choose from.
Hug in a Box - This is a step up from a Happy Box, but the concept is the same. It's got a lot more in it than the Happy Box - a couple of the choices include a blanket!
FabFitFun - I've been doing FabFitFun off-and-on for several years, and I really enjoy the quarterly boxes. This would make a nice gift if you're looking for a gift that keeps on giving.
