7 Recipes My Family Loved

Today's post isn't fancy, but it is yummy!

One of my goals for this year is to eat at home more. We ate out so much last year for various reasons - busy schedules, convenience, and soaring prices at the grocery store to name a few. I missed sitting down at our table as a family to eat a meal together, so I wanted to make it a priority this year.

That said, I don't like eating the same thing over and over, but I'm not the world's greatest cook. I can follow a recipe just fine, but I'm not someone who can take a bunch of ingredients and create something amazing. So, in an effort to not fall into a rut of cooking the same four or five meals over and over, I've been branching out and trying new recipes.

Here are seven that my family has really enjoyed and that I'll definitely be making again.

Chicken & Rice Casserole

This is a super simple chicken-and-rice casserole that you literally just put in the pan, cover with foil, and bake for about 90 minutes. Everyone in my family loved this one. I barely had enough leftovers to take for lunch the next day!

Tater Tot Casserole

This casserole is a crowd pleaser. It made enough for me to have leftovers not only for myself the next day but also my mom who asked for the recipe. She made it later that week, and even my dad, who is the pickiest eater in existence, liked it!

Baked Ravioli

This is essentially a lazy way to make lasagna with just three ingredients. So simple and makes a ton.

Cheeseburger Casserole

This one might have been my favorite casserole. It was kind of like Hamburger Helper, only so much better.

Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup

I only have good things to say about this soup. We used to have a Greek restaurant that had amazing Lemon Chicken soup, but they closed. I'm so glad I found this recipe because now I can make my own...and feed a small army, ha!

Instant Pot Lazy Lasagna

Here's an actual lazy lasagna recipe for you using an Instant Pot. This was almost as good as Stouffer's.

Cheeseburger Biscuit Bombs

Oh my goodness these stuffed biscuits were amazing! They even heated up well the next day. These were a HUGE hit. I will absolutely be making them again and experimenting with adding in some extras like bacon.

I'm always on the lookout for easy but yummy recipes. Drop your favorites in the comments!
